Miley Ray Cyrus's actual name was Destiny Hope Cyrus. Born on the 23rd of November, 1992, in Franklin Tennessee, she was born in Thompson's Station Tennessee by Tish Cyrus. She is the eldest of five siblings. They include two brothers and sisters younger. Her name was chosen by her parents as they wanted her to achieve success. Miley was her nickname in childhood due to the cheerfulness of Miley. Ron Cyrus is her Democratic politician father. Cyrus started her schooling with Heritage Elementary School. Cyrus and her parents, moved to Toronto Canada in 2001 after she was 8. Their father Billy Ray played a character in the TV series Doc. Around this time when Cyrus decided she wanted to be an actor too. Her first role came alongside her father as Doc Doc (2001). Then, in 2003 she had a minor character in Tim Burton's Big Fish. The year 2005 saw Cyrus got the role of the main character on Hannah Montana, a Disney show Hannah Montana (2006), which follows a teenager who lives an alternate life of an aspiring pop singer. In this instance, Cyrus' father also acted alongside her. The show would go on to be a huge hit. Hit records, tours which sold out, and contracts for merchandise were also signed. Cyrus rapidly became a cult figure among young people. Cyrus has appeared in Hannah Montana (2006) and The Last Song (2010) with Demi Moore, went on into other roles.
